Background Information
Boilermakers Local 13 is a field construction Boilermaker Local located in Philadelphia, PA.
Our jurisdiction covers 41 counties in the Eastern half of Pennsylvania and New Castle County in Delaware.
We are a subordinate lodge of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. We have approximately 50,000 members throughout the country.
Much of our work is done on industrial construction sites, including oil refineries, power generation plants, nuclear reactors, paper mills, steel mills, chemical plants, shipyards, and more. Our work includes welding, heavy rigging, metal fabrication, and much more.
We offer a 4 year Apprentice Program to teach these skills to our new members. This Apprenticeship would allow you to use your GI BILL while you are in the program.
We are always looking for new members that are motivated, teachable, coachable, good leaders, and those that will show up for work everyday.
Our members receive retirement benefits, an annuity plan, and a health insurance plan.
