Background Information

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 1340, in partnership with the Atlantic Coast Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association, proudly sponsors the Hampton Roads Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (RJATC).  The HRJATC provides the most comprehensive electrical journey worker and apprentice training program in the commonwealth.

The HRJATC has properly trained thousands of men and women to become highly skilled professional journey worker electricians for 78  years in the Virginia Peninsula area.  As a result, these individuals enjoy the benefits of being part of this extraordinary and exciting industry, including:
