Background Information
Founded in 1891, Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 33 has grown to almost 2000 members in 2024, with over 450 apprentices getting paid while they learn a trade/ career that will empower them to earn the life they desire. Local 33 has a jurisdiction that covers 60 counties in central Iowa, into Nebraska, and South Dakota; we also have members who travel outside of our jurisdiction.
Why we want to hire veterans
We supply skilled workers to our contractors and we know that the men and women who have served our country have the character and traits our contractors hold dear.
