Background Information
Plumbers, Pipefitters and Welders Local 146 is affiliated with the United Association (UA) of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada. UA Local 146 was chartered on November 1, 1895, to represent the common interests of the union workers and contractors of the plumbing and pipe-fitting industry in the Fort Worth area.
Why we want to hire veterans
Over the last decade, more than 2 million men and women have served and sacrificed for our nation. Despite being a disciplined and highly-trainable population, military members face an exceedingly high unemployment rate upon leaving the service. We want to provide an avenue to all veterans for a growing and high demand career in the pipe trades.
