Biography:
Security Clearance: Confidential Clearance
Military Experience: 11.2 years
Work Experience:
I am a 13 year Army veteran with first line supervisor experience. My skill concentration is in Diesel Mechanics with complimentary skills in welding, facilities maintenance, safe driving, manufacturing (press brake operation), and computer literacy (equivalent to A+ and Network+ Certification).
My career objectives are to secure a career in which I repair/diagnose computerized/automated systems or equipment at a high rate of efficiency. Also, continuing education is not an obstacle, as I am looking to acquire a degree in either engineering or electromechanical technology. I've learned these degrees can open more advanced opportunities to senior level positions in the industries listed above. In the meantime, I seek employment in the subordinate positions in the industries listed previously.
FYI: I gained contact with a representative from the Carpenter's Union in Upper Marlboro, MD who informed me of the Millwright trade. He told me I possess alot of the skills associated with the trade and asked if I wanted to pursue an opportunity with them. I agreed and tested out at the 4th year of apprenticeship. The Millwright apprenticeship is a 4 year program.
