  Supervised 10 service member in a motor pool that maintained over 300 vehicles and several office and living buildings. Established maintenance schedules for daily and preventative maintenance. Daily duties for up keep of offices and living areas would include cleaning. store rooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, and other areas. Routinely sweep, mop, scrub (machine) floors, vacuum carpets, and upholstered furniture, empty waste baskets, clean light globes and venetian blinds, wash walls, windows, and ceilings by climbing small ladders, refill toilet tissue and tower dispensers and move furniture. Inventory cleaning closet and cart and refill as needed. Preventive maintenance would include cleaning vehicles changing and checking fluids. Checking building components such as HVAC plumbing and electrical machines.
  
  Performed planned maintenance and repairs and operated a variety of heavy machinery, and familiarized myself with a wide variety of tools to include pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. I also trained new members on maintenance and safety procedures to S.O.P standards. To include preventative maintenance, maintenance, and repair, and troubleshooting for continuous improvement.
  
  I acquired maintenance skills such as buffing, polishing, and waxing floors, utilizing various chemicals specific chemicals that acquired following directions. Key skill learned was sweeping, mopping floors as well as changing and taking out the trash while keeping the Barack hallways and sleeping quarters clean. I was then assigned and stationed at Ft. Carson Colorado. My unit was 4th I.D 64th FSB. I worked there for a year and a half, while there, experienced with hands-on mechanic and preventive maintenance by performing weekly, monthly, and biannual maintenance inspections. I had to lift heavy equipment such as tools to change parts that weigh a range between 10-100 pounds. learned a wide variety of skills and techniques as I exceeded various challenges from working in inclement weather that reached as low as below zero to a high of over 100 degrees.
