Hello, my names Chris for short! Im a 5 yr. Vet out of the coastguard where i commenced multiple missions such as search and rescue, law enforcement along with engineering. I pursued my career in welding once i got out and attended a 2 yr. accredited welding school since i loved the flow & art in the skill! I have achieved various welding certs through AWS. I am a very determined Team player with the courage of leadership and being punctual. Duties Description:DCs do the work necessary for damage control, ship stability, firefighting, fire prevention, and chemical, biological and radiological warfare defense. They also instruct personnel in the methods of damage control and chemical, biological and radiological defense, and repair damage control equipment and systems. Damage Controlmen qualify in the techniques, skills, use and maintenance of equipment for damage control, carpentry, fire fighting, pipe fitting, anchoring, welding, laying out, assembling, measuring, measuring devices, and chemical, biological, and radiological CBR defense, including the use of personnel decontamination stations and protective shelters; and are responsible for maintaining and repairing damage control equipment and for preserving watertight integrity.
