My name is Christopher Simpson and after a decade in the military, split between the Marine Corps and Army, I decided to start the next chapter of my life in a manner that would benifit my newborn daughter the most. This lead be to become a NCCER certified and competent heavy equiptment operator. I have years of experience in all different types of construction from roofing, concrete work and excavating to plubing, framing and electric. However my most recent experience is on heavy equiptment and I have learned to become competent and proficient on dozer, backhoe, excavator, loader, haul truck, utility tractor, skid steer and motorgrader. I have worked very hard for what I have achieved and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to show you what I can do and prove my worth to your team.

    Duties Description:

    The infantryman supervises, leads, or serves as a member of an infantry activity that employs individual small arms weapons or heavy anti-armor crew served weapons, either vehicle or dismounted in support of offensive and defensive combat operations. My specific role was as a Section Sergeant/Squad Leader in charge of both Alpha and Bravo Sections. I was placed in charge of, and held accountable for, the entire platoon of Bradley IFV and all personnel, serialized items (SI) and gear. I completed this task, for a duration of 3 years, without the loss of or damage to any equip or SI totaling over $34 million and the devlopment and wellbeing of 13 other men under my care.

    Duties Description:

    Ammunition technicians work in every facet of the ammunition field, including receipt, storage, issue, and handling of ammunition and toxic chemicals. Develop SOPs; Develop a Marine Ammunition Requirements Support Order (MARSO); Execute Marine Corps Ammunition Liaison duties; Monitor Ammunition Maintenance Operations; Evaluate personnel requiring certification within an ammunition qualification and certification program; Manage the ammunition inventory; Plan strategic movement of ammunition for inter-theater operations in support of combat operations. As a Using Unit Tech (UUT) I held personal accountability for the issuing, reciept and movement of $23 million in ammunition, high explosives and chemical weapons. I manintained an in-depth knowledge of NAVSEA (Naval Sea System Command), NAVSEAOP 5 VOL 1&2, AFMAN, (Air Force Manual), NAVMC (Navy and Marine Corp Manual), The Yellow Book, and 49-CFR (Code of Federal Regulations).
