Timothy Nelon

Greetings, 

 Greeting,  

My name is Timothy Nelon, I am 40
years old, happily married with two children ages 12 and 15. I have served in
the USAF for 19 years and am transitioning to the civilian sector. I began
construction when I was 16 years of age for a high school vocational program. I
continued along that path and went community college and attained a Certificate in Building Construction
Technology in 2002. During that time there was a lack of opportunity for growth
in area, so I decided to join the USAF. I was placed as Helicopter Crew Chief,
where I learned maintenance ground operations. In 2010 I cross trained into the
Structures career field. I have spent the last 12 years improving my skills in construction,
as well taking the role of a trainer, project manager as well as a role of HR
rep as the Section Chief since 2016. I hope to develop those skills more and
look forward to finding the right opportunity to fit my skill sets. I am a
strong manager, good at creating schedules and budgets for projects. I prefer to
be a boot on ground supervisor to ensure quality and maintain the pace of work to
accomplish priorities. I am good problem fast solver, and I am strong at coming
up with quick real time solutions that will not drastically increase scope, schedule,
or budget.
