I recently completed my 5-year commitment to the United States Navy. During my time within the service, I traveled to 6 different countries, earned numerous qualifications related to my expertise and became knowledgeable in electrical work as that was my designated trade. Upon completion of my commitment, I made E4 along with earning a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. I took pride my in time within the service and am now looking to continue my dedication to working hard by becoming an apprentice to learn the necessary tools to become a valued employee. Duties Description:Electrician's Mates stand watch on generators, switchboards, control equipment and electrical equipment; operate and perform organizational and intermediate maintenance on power and lighting circuits, electrical fixtures, motors, generators, voltage and frequency regulators, controllers, distribution switchboards and other electrical equipment; test for short circuits, ground or other casualties; and rebuild electrical equipment, including solid state circuitry elements, in an electrical shop.
