My name is Geraldo Rivera and I am looking to become a licensed electrician in the state of California. I did 5 years in the navy as a maintenance electrician and was able to work on equipment I would have never had the opportunity to. Equipment such as 3 phase motors, motor controllers, switches, controlling generators through an HMI console. My time as a maintenance electrician at the HF Sinclair refinery plant in New Mexico under the contractor PSC Group allowed me to learn how to troubleshoot different heat trace systems and put my prior skills learned in the navy to use.
