hi sir/ma'am ,ive been a carpenter for 24 years now.In that time ive work on many buildings such as custom homes to commerical buildings,the skills i have develop in that time include timber framing,high end trim work.decking(both high end and standard work)timber pitch roofing,concrete foundations,
Also ive manger crews of carpenters to complete constructions job ,that would consist of laying out jobs,mangering man power,making material list,meeting home owers etc
Ive recently started working for the local 157 union in nyc,specializing in sheetyrock,which is a great job ,the reason why am writing you ma'am/sir is i would like to get into a different union,that union is for Longshoreman nyc .its a falls under the category of carpenter specialist am told which i believe i qualify under my expenrience plus i have a 'City and guilds Carpentry school qualification levels 1,2&3 from northern Ireland where am originally from Any help with this transition would be greatly appreciate it
