Military Service:
Rank: Petty Officer 2nd Class

Period: March 2014 - April 2022
Occupation: Engineman
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance
Duties Description:The mission of United States Navy Reserves is to provide back up support to the Navy in situations when Full Time Support or Active Duty members can’t do in order to complete the mission. We are required to attend a minimum of one weekend a month and 2 weeks a year for training. My unit also does RMT which is 5 days of providing support to our command once a quarter if funding’s available. As a reservist my job is to make sure I am always deployable ready whenever the mission calls for it. We have to fulfill requirements such as keeping up on our medical records, making sure we don’t have any court dates that will keep us from deploying, passing a randomized drug test to insure that we are mentally and physically stable to achieve the mission, as well as passing our Physical Fitness Test once every six months and completing antiterrorism courses. My job title or rate is EN2 or Engineman second class or Petty Officer second class to civilians. As an engineman some my responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of the engines, trouble shooting the machines in the engine room, taking oil samples, as well as cleaning and doing inspections. During our missions we don’t go home until the job is complete and the commander in charge is satisfied with the condition of the work space. Requirements of the job includes being on time for the mission, cleaned shaved, and being in the military work uniform of the day. If sailors don’t fulfill these requirements we can get negative marks in our work records that can effect us in the future such as making promotion or advancement to the next rank or pay grade, having a negative remake in our work evaluation sheets, or can result in disciplinary action by going to a court martial for dereliction of duty article 92 of the ucmj or the uniform code of military justice. Job Title: Dietary aide
Company: Our lady of consolation
Period: March 2013 - January 2020
Role Description:My position in the nursing home is a Dietary Aide. I work in the dining room area of each unit of the facility. My job is to make sure the dining area is kept sanitized, organized to eat in,and providing a friendly homelike atmosphere like the residents were eating at home. I stock the refrigerator and bring the food in from the kitchen into the serving table and place it in the chafing dishes to keep the food temperature over 140 degrees, otherwise bacteria can grow on the food . I serve each resident the food according to his or her meal ticket to avoid allegories and restrictions such as having the food chopped up or blended to make sure the food is tolerable for those with problems chewing and swallowing. The most important task is to make sure that all the food utensils are cleaned and sanitized to prevent the spread of cross contamination of bacteria and germs, and making each resident dining experience is as pleasant like they were eating in their own home. The biggest safety issue is knowing the different diets, such as a renal diet, which are provided for resident who have problems with their kidneys, so that can’t have anything that has potassium in it such as bananas, potatoes, or tomatoes. Other diets include lactose for those allergic to dairy and dairy like products and sugar free diets for diabetics.
Job Title: Sales associate.
Company: Ace hardware
Period: August 2008 - March 2014
Role Description:I would assist customers who were in need of help with knowledge and experienced that I learned firsthand by using the products we stock. I would guide the customer when they had questions about certain projects, by suggesting better and additional products to help finish each project. This boosts each sale profits and gives the customer a one on one experience which is lacked in many big box stores. For example when a customer is working on a painting project it’s not needed but recommended to have a mask no to prevent the inhaling of harmful fumes. By offering additional products this would increase the sales margin and adds an additional sale item than that customer had no intent or knowledge of before to buy. By doing this we helped put our average sales margin for the month of November 2013 from $15.25 to $18.40 per sale. I was also trained in cutting keys, mixing paints,as well as a cashier and also worked on the floor as a stocker and organized and cleaned the shelves. My knowledge experience includes the basics of plumbing fittings, wall paint, wood paint, the application of them and how to prep the wall for the best finish. My knowledge expertises also includes every seasonal products such as the best salts to melt ice and outdoor garden care. The customer service experiences that I learned here provided me with some of the best tools necessary to execute a great cliental and turned customers into regulars. In a mom and pop store it was very hard to compete with the cheaper prices that the big box stores would offer. So in order to stay up in business we helped keep shelves stocked with the necessities for around the house, and had each item very accessible by placing them in an easy to reach spot on the shelf not in overstock area or in the backroom. The most important aspect of running a business is to make the customer feel like family member and not like they are just another number. Word of mouth is very important, if one person is not happy they will tell their friends or family and hurt our reputation. The customer is always right and you have to provide the best customer service every time they stepped into the store.
