Ethan Willy

Hello, my name is Ethan Willy and I am currently attending Victor Valley College through their welding program. I am a Marine Corps veteran who was honorably discharged in June of 2022. My job while in the military was an 0311 rifleman and I served as a team leader for my squad as well as being our medical Corpsmans second hand, meaning I helped him set up IV's, carried an extra medical bag, helped the men in the squad with their medical needs, etc. From my time in the military I have learned of the importance and gratification of hard work and how working hard pays off. I've always had an interest in working with my hands through the mind, whether it be working on cars, carpentry, to now my career pursuit as a welder. My last semester attending the college I successfully passed the EMS program and have learned and expanded upon what medical knowledge I accumulated from the military, I think everyone needs a basic understanding of the medcal field and how to apply those skills in the work force if an accident were to ever happen on the job site.
