My name is Aziya. I'm from the Seattle area originally. I enlisted into the Navy at eighteen as a Cryptologic Technician (Interprative). I spent 2 years training at the Defense Language institute in a rigorous Persian-Farsi program. Upon graduation, I worked at NSA-G for four more years until I separated. I received two Joint Service Commendation Medals for my work.
I have experience leading small teams of approximately 6-10 joint service personnel. I also oversaw completion of daily missions, as well as training new team members.
After six years in the military, I've realized desk work is not for me. I'm looking to expand my horizons, and I think construction is my next step post-transition.
