Daniel Barrows

Hello, my name is Daniel Barrows. I am 26 years old, I born December 2, 1996 in Springfield Massachusetts. I grew up in Feeding Hills Massachusetts currently serving in the U.S. Army. I've been enlisted since August 17, 2015. My MOS is 15R, Apache Helicopter Maintainer. Ive been doing this job for 6 and a half almost 7 years now. I have roughly two years remaining on my contract in the military. Throughout my career I have been in continuous leadership roles. Ranging from task's on the Apache to directly overseeing 4-6 soldiers As there squad leader. Ensuring that they are current on all documentation and appointments. accounting for them and teaching them in our job. I was deployed to Syria and Iraq in 2019. Ive been serving for 8 years and 4 months as of today. At the end of this current contract will be 10 years of service. My needs and wants sadly don’t align with the military anymore. I have a wife and family, three boys that are growing up. My wants are simple, transition out of the military and be able to have a steady job with a steady place to call home. A place to plant our roots, where my children can grow up with a more sturdy environment.
