Andrew Fidler

Hello, I am Mick and I am considering a career change. I have worked several jobs since I began working as a teenager in 2006 and gained a lot of experience in various fields. I have experience in industrial maintenance and production, corrections, security, healthcare, satellite installation, and a little construction. I have always had a strong aptitude in mechanics that I inherited from my grandfather and sharpened since repairing small engines with him as a boy. I did some mig welding when I worked maintenance, as well as some metal work and jig fabrication. I have always been drawn to working with my hands and learning new things. I am a quick study, once I do something a couple times I understand it well and only improve the more I practice. I have served in the military as a combat medic for almost 14 years, hold my NREMT and CPR/BLS certifications as required. I wanted to go into nursing but life has taken me a different route. I would like to get a footing in a career field that will support me and my family as well as provide opportunities to advance and succeed. I would like to learn a skill, work in a field, become an expert, and eventually become a supervisor or educator in that area.
