They conduct and evaluate water surveys, water reconnaissance, and water quality analysis as well as establish, maintain, and close sanitation systems.The role involves working with electrical systems, such as control panels and electrical wiring, to ensure the proper functioning of water treatment and distribution equipment. Electrical skills are essential for troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed. When on Military Operations Other Than War (MOOTW) these technicians also plan, install, and repair the plumbing systems of structures.
