Hello, my name is Holden Anderson ive recently moved to california and im looking to get into a plasters and cement masons apprenticeship. I joined the Marine Corps right out of highschool as a 1371 and grew fond of working with concrete. A few things about myself that i believe to be my strengths are that im reliable, im a quick learner, and i can appreciate quality work. I dont have the most exstensive mason backround but it does include being apart of 3 school builds in the Philipines which was mainly block laying, finishing with stucco and form work. Before moving to california i worked with a residential concrete company called Massie Bros out of Spokane Washington where i learned alot about form and finishing work on driveways, sidewalks, garage floors, patios and steps. During my time with Massie Bros i found my passion for working with concrete and would like to keep doing it as a career. I would really like to get into an apprenticeship to get more hands on experience while using my GI bill.

Duties Description:*quick note, my military occupation is a 1371 Combat Engineer (not an officer, there was no option for enlisted)
My duties included breaching and clearing doors, basic understanding/implementation of explosive devices, sweeping and clearing mines/IEDs. Additionaly used carpentry to build bunkers, lookout posts, and forms for concrete obstacles.
