My name is Isaiah Acosta, I am a 22 year old male from West Jordan Utah. I am currently serving active duty in the United States Marine Corps, I am finishing up my time on active duty contract with an EAS date of 01/26/2024. During my time in the service I have achieved intangible assets such as leadership, management, self confidence, self reliance, and discipline. I am a Ammunition Technician Specialist and have achieved the rank of Corporal within 2 years of service, have been accountable for millions of dollars worth of transaction, and a team leader of 4-6 marines for the past 2 years.
Now that I am transition out of the service I would like to start a career in plumbing, specifically pipfitting and welding. I like to work with my hands, build, and be apart of operations that are bigger than myself. I think with my work ethic and discipline I am a great fit for the trades and would be more than happy to start a plumbing appprenticeship.
