Work Experience:

 I am a seasoned Tow Motor Operator and Heavy Equipment Operator with over 30 years of hands-on experience. I am adept at using a wide variety of equipment and machinery, and I have a solid background
in warehouse operations and military service. I am interested in joining the Operators Union Local 18 and fill a challenging role where I can leverage my skills and experience. 

I served in the United States Marine Corps from 1988 thru 1992 and worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Combat Engineer, and Nuclear Biological Combat Decontamination Specialist. There, I operated several
types of power construction equipment, such as compactors, pumps, hoists, cranes, shovels, tractors, scrapers, and motor graders, to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structural and reinforcing steel, and pour concrete or other hard surface paving materials. I repaired and maintained equipment. From 1993 thru
1995, I served in the United States Air Force Reserves where I worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator loading C – 130 Aircraft. I earned several medals while serving, some include Combat Action Ribbon, Kuwaiti Liberation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Ribbon and the National Defense Ribbon. 

Since leaving the military, I have worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 7 & 7 Environmental Clean-up, and a Tow Motor Operator and Machine Operator for Viking Forge. I worked as a Tow Motor Operator, Assembler and Inspector for General Electric in Ravenna Ohio for 20 years before they closed in 2021 and since then, I have worked at Arhaus Furniture in Shipping and Receiving and I am currently employed as an Assembler at Hiab, formally known as Walt Co.  

My Skills include:  

· Heavy Equipment Operation: Bulldozers, graders, scrapers, compactors, excavators, backhoes,
bobcats, dump trucks, 30-60 ton mobile cranes and overhead cranes.  

· Tow Motor Operation: Stand Up Forklift, Sit Down Forklift, Yard Dog, Turret Trucks. 

· Experience with launch bridges, lathes, boring mills, soldering and electronic welding. 

· Proficient in forklift battery changes and maintenance. 

· Ability to adhere to stringent safety regulations, protocols, and guidelines.
