Tanner Secrest

My name is Tanner Secrest and I have been apart of the workforce since my first job in 2012 as a fast food cook at Sonic in Westville, Oklahoma. I've gone through a few job changes but was always loyal to my employer and gave 100% of effort at every level.

My time as a membership specialist has excelled my customer service skills as well as computer knowledge and advanced my typing to ~60 words per minute.
Working as a crew member in landscaping I learned the value of hard work and what it means to complete a task while also giving as much attention to detail as possible.

When I served in the United States Marine Corps I learned the importance of core values and how they affect your everyday life. Becoming a leader and excelling at your job begins with learning and not accepting failure as defeat. It also trained me to stay motivated and continue to give my best even in the most difficult of times. 

My career goals and objectives have stayed the same since I first started working. One of them is to absolutely perfect my craft and learn every detail before moving on to the next task. That means that if I start at the bottom of the ladder I will be sure to know every in and out and inch of the bottom before I move my way up. I know that could only be done though as a team player and as a strong coworker. Working as a team is the most important part of staying reliable in the workforce. No easy task is completed solo and there are reasons for that. A lot of moving parts go into every detail of your work life and you need to be confident in the people beside you, just as much as they can rely on you. But those most important objective in every day of work that I have is to constantly better myself from the day before. If I complete my day without learning any one new thing than I feel I have wasted that day. I believe that this work ethic is what makes great leaders and what can keep the work force moving.
