 I am a Marine Corps veteran who served for 8 years as a Field Artillery Radar Operator and a Marine Security Guard. As a Sergeant I was responsible for leading a team consisting of 8-12 Marines in remote operations in the field where we set up, installed, and operated radar equipment to track and process incoming artillery, rocket, and mortar fires. I was able to oeprate the MEP-1040 generator ( 10kW AMMPS Generator Set. Self-contained, skid mounted, portable unit. Consists of a diesel engine, brushless generator, excitation system, speed governing system, fuel system, 24 VDC starting system, control system and fault system ). The AN/TPQ-36; AN/TPQ -49 Firefinder weapon locating systems ( weapon locating radars ). Multiple field telecommunications equipment to communicate with various elements while isolated in the field and operate the HMMWV ( High Mobility Multipurpose Vechile ) and all its variantes. Was responsible for conducting preventative mainentance on equipment as requried to stay operationally capable while deployed. As a Marine Security Guard I was able to attain a Top Secret Clearance and provided Internal armed security while collaborating with the Department of State at various embassies throughout the world. I posses over 8 years of leadership experience, able to supervise, train develop, and achieve timely goals or objectives in any area that I am responsible for. I understand how to assess and mitigate risks to ensure a safe work environment is upheld. My career aspiration is to learn a skilled trade and be a reliable contribution to any company that would provide me the opportunity to prove myself!
