To whomever this may concern, thank you for taking the time to read my professional summary and allowing me to introduce myself. I enlisted in the Army when I was 17 years old, with my parents consent. I still had my senior year of highschool to complete which gave me the opportunity to train at a recruiting center after my highschool sports practice each day, before graduating. Once my highscool experience was over, I continued to train with recruiters to get ready for basic training/bootcamp. Bootcamp was extremely tough but rewarding at the same time. It challenged me more than I could have ever imagined, which gave me major endurance, drive and passion. The career path I chose with the Army is Carpentry/Masonry. Within the 6 months of actively training in the Army, I successfully completed the 12W Carpentry/Masonry course in the year of 2018. I continued to serve as a reservist but never obtained a job that was based around my career path. Now that I am 24 years old and a mother of 1, I want to continue my desired career path. I believe that if I get a chance to complete this apprenticeship program, it will change my life for the better. I have basic knowledge of carpentry/masonry but I am willing to learn more. I am familiar with frame work and concrete work. I am currently enrolled in online classes to study carpentry/masonry, to further my knowledge even more. My plan after completing the apprenticeship program is obtain my contractors license so I can start my own busniess involving around renovating/updating houses. It would be greatly appreciated if you considered me as an applicant.

I graduated from Basic Training and shipped off to Gulfport, Mississippi to complete AIT (Advanced Individual Training). Which is where I aquired the skills of basic carpentry and masonry. After receiving certification, I shipped off back to home in Fresno, CA. I stayed at the duty station in Fresno for years and continued basic army training.
