Dear Hiring Team,

I will be applying to your company for permenant employment and I heard about your company through helmets for hard hats.

I'm seeking employment at your company, where I can dedicate my motivation, tact and intuition to support your team. I will be returning this November, before Thanksgiving, from a 12.5-month deployment. During my full year service protecting the California and the Texas Southwest Border.

I am Daveon Gilbert, a 22-year-old soldier with three years of dedicated service in the Michigan Army National Guard. The majority of my career has been spent on activity duty orders. I am looking forward to returning home to my soon to be wife and exploring new career possibilities.

I believe I will be a valueable asset to the team, given my extensive experience in dynamically managing responsibilities across various roles and schedules, coupled with my ability to quickly learn new skills. My deployment has enhanced my resilience, communication skills, and ability to solve problems collaborativvely while prioritizing team safety by reporting potential violations. This experience has broadened my perspective, especially having been immersed in a diverse cultural and scenic enviroments.

I have conducted day and night operations that included surveillance from 4,000 feet in the northern border mountains. Facing down 7 miles towards Tijuana. In my final months that I spent in Texas, I became Combat Lifesaver (CLS) certified, enabling me to perform essential life-saving skills. Additionally, I'm certified in patrolling, where I utilize my expertise and night vision capabilities to search for footprints and signs of traffic during nighttime operations.

I am eager to secure a fulltime position in a company where I can invest my ethusiasm and dedication. Thank you for considering my application.

Respectfully,

Gilbert, Daveon A.
