Security Clearance: Secret Clearance
Work Experience:
As AEPO on a patrol boat in Charleston, SC, I am responsible for operating, maintaining, and training of this unit. AEPO is second in charge to the EPO. I oversee subordinates’ performance and help train to better perform
various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems onboard the cutter. At previous units, I have been responsible for the maintenance of up to 12 small boats at a time. I have developed creative ways to complete
missions and perform maintenance that have been more efficient, safer, and cost effective. My machinery experience is on MTU Diesel, Detroit Diesel, MAN Diesel generator, and Yanmar Diesel. I also have experience with record keeping from maintenance to law enforcement to procurement of parts, and have developed many
skills with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
As a qualified Officer of the Day (OOD) at Coast Guard small boat stations, I have coordinated several challenging search and rescue cases, working with multiple different Federal and State agencies that have been successful in saving lives. I have made a career in working with all kinds of other people to achieve a common goal through developing partnerships and running logistics.
