My name is Tim Atkins. I have served the Oregon National Guard for 11 1/2 years. I plan on ETS being in October 2024. I currently work at an Irrigation District in Cemtral Washington. I am trying to get back to Oregon and am trying to get a trade that I can complete all trainings now that I will be getting out of the military. I am currently located in Yakima, Washington, trying to move back to Oregon when i find Employment.
i am very dedicated and have a work ethic that is unrivaled. I have ran my own businesa, both full time and part time. I completed the professional Farrier program at Oregon Farrier Schoool in 2008.
i know i am starting behind the curve with my age. How ever please believe me, it won't be an issue. I have been keeping up and surpassing younger men/women than myself for my entire military career. I am a dedicated individual, and have excellent learning comprehension and along with that excellent leadership qualities as well.
After my tour in Afghanistan I got my CDL and drove log truck for a contract log truck company in Springfield, OR. I have had and driven in every weather condition in the Pacifix North West.
In closing, if I could get a chance as a future employer, I can promise you a full effort and also the desire for continous education and learning, also on the other side once I learn I truly enjoy training others.
