    Duties Description:

    Operate and maintain two main diesel engines on a Coast Guard Aids to Navigation vessel, maintained environmental support systems (heating/ventilation/air conditioning), hydraulics devices, and electrical equipment. Had to maintain and troubleshoot issues on our unit's 64ft barge, 20ft boat, 2 forklifts and all of our equipment. When we were underway, I was part of the maintenance rounds every hour to ensure everything was running, would use chainsaws/forklifts/ tractors to maintain beuys, day boards and lights to assist commercial vessels transit the Louisiana waterways. I was a buoy deck crane operator and supervisor.
