Work Experience:

I am currently serving in the United States Navy as an Electrician Mate Second Class Petty Officer on board USS CHOSIN (CG-65). I troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment on board to include generators, switchboards, different kind of motors such as ventilation, cooling water, A/C plants, refrigerant plants and firefighting systems. As well as monitor and supervise the engineering plant and required to troubleshoot specific equipment at all hours when need be.

    Duties Description:
    Electrician's Mates stand watch on generators, switchboards, control equipment and electrical equipment; operate and perform organizational and intermediate maintenance on power and lighting circuits, electrical fixtures, motors, generators, voltage and frequency regulators, controllers, distribution switchboards and other electrical equipment; test for short circuits, ground or other casualties; and rebuild electrical equipment, including solid state circuitry elements, in an electrical shop.
