  Role Description:

  Within my 9 years of the HVAC/R trade most of my time was spent as an installer in both residential and commercial.
  

  Residential work experience included brand new cut ins, change outs, custom homes and track homes with projects ranging from 10 unit townhome/apartmemt complexes to 40 Units. Within these projects specificly as an installer I was able to: read and assess blue prints in order to perform estimates and gather material, install FAUs (heat pump & gas/electric), run thermostat wire from FAU to designated location, build and hang all necessary ductwork, run copper lineset from indoor coil to outdoor coil as well as connect and braze, and set finish for condensers, registers, thermostats for initial start up. Perform maintenance and basic level trouble shooting in order to perform repairs.

  Commercial work included working on tenant improvements, tilt ups, and smaller buildings such as gas stations, optomery offices, and other businesse. My experience includes, reading blue prints in order to estimate and order material such as spiral ductwork, rectangular ductwork and transitions(basic 45 or 90 degree as well as square to rounds, larger rectangular to smaller etc). Cutting and hanging necessary ductwork, insulating duct work, placing seismic straps on ductwork, connecting flex ductwork at the ends in order to connect commerical t bar lay in registers or install commercial registers. Assemble and install curbs for commercial package units, lay out and mark for condensation, high voltage power and lowvoltage in accordance with those curbs. Rigging and guiding crane operators in order to set and place commercial package units. As well as start up, perform maintenance and read schematics to perform trouble shooting and repairs.
