hello my name is christopher jaycox, I served four years in the United States Marine Corps where i achieved the rank of Corporal and was honorably discharged. while in the Marines i was a correctional officer where my entier focus was accoutability not only of myself and the Marines under my charge but the accountablity of all prisoners and gear. I am highly motivated and eager to learn I can take orders but am not afraid to take charge. I have been working with tools for a majority of my life and while working for general dynamics I was forklift certified. I do excellent working by myself or with others.

    Duties Description:
    Correctional specialists guard and provide 24 hour supervision of the daily activities of confined and restrained personnel at Naval Brigs and Correctional Custody Units to prevent disturbances and escapes. Correctional specialists perform routine inspections, process personnel for confinement and release; transport prisoners, absentees and deserters; manage prisoner's funds and personal property; observe and report meaningful changes in prisoner behavior; and report infractions of the unit's regulations.

    Role Description:

    My current position I recieve material from the coating operators where the material has glue put on it then is put on to cores. once i recieve the material it is loaded on to my machine and then cut down to the appropriate width.

    Role Description:

    I was apart of a fabrication team that helped shape, drill, and stamp parts for Navy destroyers. I worked on presses as small as 35 tons all the way to 1000 tons. I also worked on drills, bandsaws, and blacksmith shop. I had a very small margin of error and had to be able to read and understand diagrams of parts which included having to be able to add and subtract fractions and decimals.
