My name is Will Coleman. I Was an E-4 Machinist Mate in the US Navy (MM3). In my time as a Machinist Mate, I completed a list of schools including valve maintenance school, Basic engineering common core, and Machineist Mate "A" School. I completed 3 over seas deployments on the USS Carl Vinson. I operated and performed maintenance on distilling plants, turbine generators, main propulsion engines and high pressure air compressors. I also took place in large scale evolutions Such as shipboard fire fighting drills co-coordinated with the San Diego federal fire department; Qualified all in rate qualifications and 3M/QA. I am looking to start my career as an welder.

Duties Description:If surface, operate, maintain, and repair (organizational and intermediate level) ship propulsion machinery, auxiliary equipment, and outside machinery, such as: steering engine, hoisting machinery, food preparation equipment, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, windlasses, elevators, and laundry equipment. Operate and maintain (organizational and Intermediate level) marine boilers, pumps, forced draft blowers, and heat exchangers; perform tests, transfers, and inventory of lubricating oils, fuels, and water. Maintain records and reports, and may perform duties in the generation and stowage of industrial gases.Training courses:
