I am a Marine Corps Veteran. My military occupation was Tractor Trailer Operator. I was certified to pull personnel trailers, various artillery equipment, and assault vehicles (tanks, amphibious assault vehicles, etc.). I also operated vehicle operated cranes (to load my vehicle). I served from April 2, 1986 to December 1,1990. I received an honorable discharge. I have worked in law enforcement, in retail and vehicle sales, and currently self employed as a barber. I took heavy equipment operator classes at Associated Training Services in Las Vegas, Nevada from August 2006 through September 2006. I am (was) certified to operate the backhoe, wheel loader, dump truck, skid steer, tractor, bulldozer, scraper, and water wagon. I also received certification in Grades. During the class, I also completed courses in surveying, soils, laser leveling, safety procedures, equipment maintenance, blue prints, and rigging. I was also certified in CPR (since expired). I have many years in leadership and manager roles while in the military (1 year), law enforcement (6 years), and in retail sales. I am seeking a position(s) in the heavy equipment operator which will afford me the ability to grow beyond the position of operator. I will also add that I am a quick learner and accept feedback.

The LVS was licensed for also had a system with a crane to load cargo and equipment with.
