My name is Ryan Cofer and I'm stil serving in the United States Navy with the MOS of Equipment Operator and have operated a wide variety of equipment through my tenure in the military from forklifts, bull dozers, tractor trailers, backhoes, excavators, cargo trucks jsut to name a few. I will have served 20 years when I plan to retire in Mar of 2026. I enjoy everything about construcion and thoroughly interested in becoming a crane operator. I have had the opportunity to fufill many different duties while serving but my passion is operating. I have worked as part of a crane crew, project crew member, crew leader, project supervisor and now the operations Chief for the equipment company in my battalion. I have completed the crane core pipeline offered by the Naval Construction Force to include hookblock operations on the 40 ton truck mounted crane, clamshell, dragline and pile driving operations with the 50 ton lattice boom crane. I current on my occupational health physicals for forklift and cranes and plan to further my career after the military in becoming a crane operator.

Duties Description:Perform tasks involving deployment and operation of automotive, materials handling, weight lifting and construction equipment; direct and coordinate efforts of individuals and crews in execution of construction, earth?moving, roadbuilding, quarrying, asphalt batching and paving, concrete batch plant operations, concrete paving and transit mixer operation assignments; maintain records and reports on mobile and stationary equipment and organize and supervise automotive and construction equipment pools; maintain individual combat readiness and perform tasks required in combat and disaster preparedness or recovery operations.
