Biography: Alexander Robert Schrepel
My name is Alexander Robert Schrepel, and I’m a proud U.S. Army veteran who served as a tank crewman and mechanic. I was trained in every position on a tank—driver, loader, and gunner—giving me a full-scope understanding of armored vehicle operations. I also worked in and helped oversee a garage responsible for the maintenance and readiness of multimillion-dollar military equipment, where precision and accountability were non-negotiable.
Due to my performance and reliability, I was hand-picked by my commander to serve as his personal driver—a role that required trust, professionalism, and consistent attention to detail. This experience reinforced my ability to operate under pressure and represent leadership with integrity.
I was deployed to both Poland and Germany, where I faced some of the most intense conditions of my life. I’ve slept on tanks in the desert heat and through freezing cold nights when I couldn’t feel my fingers, fearing frostbite in my feet. I’ve pushed through hunger, exhaustion, and hardship—and came out of it a more disciplined, resilient man.
The Army didn’t just give me technical know-how; it instilled in me a strong work ethic, adaptability, and the mindset to keep going no matter what. Now, I’m ready to bring those same values and skills into the trades—to contribute, to learn, and to build a new chapter with the same dedication I gave to my service.
