I started my journey as a volunteer firefighter in the Tarrytown Volunteer Fire Department, where I assisted the public in fire related emergencies, motor vehicle accidents and other related emergencies for approximately 10 years. I served in the U.S. Army for three and a half years as an Infantryman; the essential backbone of the Army, defending the country in times of peace and war. I then proceeded to join the New York City Police Department in which I have been in for the last 3 years. Through these three unique experiences, I learned how to work in a public service capacity, developed an outstanding physical and mental toughness for handling changing situations with superior reaction time and adaptability. I would also like to include that I am bilingual; fluent in English and Spanish.
