Eager to learn and I soak up information like a sponge. I'm a very hard worker and very motivated. I'm more of a hands on learner. I served 6 years active duty in the Air Force and 2 years of Guard/Reserve duty. While on active duty I was a Egress Systems Craftsman (AFSC 2A673) and was a Staff Sergeant at the time of my discharge. Once I discharged I started my Bachelor Degree in Applied Science Criminal Justice and graduated after 4 years with my BAS in 2013. I worked for a local law firm for almost 2 years as a Veterans Case Manager. I was responsible for filing claims, filing appeals, putting in medical records and C file requests, submitting records to the Regional VA Office, keeping the lawyer up to date that I was working under, I kept clients up to date on their cases and progress, and used the law firms system to track everthing. I went to work for Bob Wingrove Construction from Aug 2015 until July 2020. We built brand new homes from the ground up and did remodeling work. I have experience with pouring footers, installing French drains, laying foundation block or pouring foundation walls, reading blueprints/plans, framing walls, installing trusses, metal roofing and shingle roofing, installing all plumbing, pulling wire to each receptacle or switch or appliance, installed receptacles, switches, appliance outlets, and lighting. I hung and finished drywall, installed tile work in bathrooms and kitchens, painted, stomped ceilings, installed doors and windowns, did all interior and exterior finish work, installed cabinets and countertops, laid various types of flooring, furnaces and hot water tanks, ran electric wire 14 and 12 gauge to the service panel. I didn't solely install all leads to the service panel, but I assisted many times. I installed tubs, showers, vanities, toilets, etc. I simulantelously worked at Hobby Lobby in Vienna as a retail clerk during the holidays. It was a seasonal position and I worked there from July 2020 until January 2021 while still working for Bob Wingrove Construction. I worked evenings and weekends mosly while at Hobby Lobby. Bob Wingrove Construction went out of business in August of 2020 and then I went to work for Patriot Painters and Builders from November 2020 until they went out of business in January 2024.
