Duties Description:I was deployed to the middle east as a
combat medic with the Arizona National Guard from SEP 12th 2023 to
AUG 10th 2024. I was the sole medic on my small base of 19 personnel
and was in charge of all medical duties on base which includes: all medical
resupply, patient evacuation plans, mass casualty plans, medical records,
vaccinations, medical health, and mental health.
I also worked as base security which include the following duties: securing all
entry points into the base, clearing all personnel to come on base, monitoring
security cameras to ensure base security, maintaining my assigned weapon and
ammo, maintaining a paper log of all personnel coming to and from base, and
alerting all personnel on base of incoming drones/missiles.
