Typical duties include operating, servicing, inspecting, and testing aircraft firefighting and rescue vehicles, firefighting systems, controls, and rescue equipment; instructing personnel in the technique and procedures of fighting fires and operating heavy equipment to hoist and salvage all types of naval aircraft.
