I am currently in the navy as an ATI under an I25a NEC for calibration. I have served 6 years and will be leaving the service as an E-5. During my time in the service i have worked with a multitude of electronic equipment and their components as well as having coordinated with every department aboard the ship to ensure a proper schedule was kept to keep their equipment operational during times of high intensity workloads to include flying missions during the 2024 deployment to assist in airwing operations over multiple middle eastern countries in aid of the mission of the Abraham Lincoln strike group. I have managed millions of dollars of diagnostic and testing equipment to ensure reworks, calibration, scheduled maintenance, and proper cleaning and care were accomplished in a timely manner in accordance with naval instructions and guidance. I have overseen the ordering and issues of electrical components, uniforms, cleaning products, support equipment, tools, etc for an entire department aboard the abraham lincoln as well as managing the budget to ensure that we were able to complete our misison, stay within budget, and weigh the cost benefit of upgrading equipment or changing vendors to get the best deal.
