After upgrading my high school Black&White TV production studio to Color in 1981, then Rebuilding the theatrical lighting system, I knew that I enjoyed working in the electronics field. I got my commercial FCC licence in 1980 via Civil Air Patrol and was a part of their nationwide cold-war communications network for several years, found employment at AT&T Bell labs testing prototype equipment for compliance with FCC and AT&T radio emission and vulnerabilities specifications for several years.

 In the early 1990's I joined the NJ Air National Guard and went to military and USAF technical school, where I was the honor graduate that year. I had to request the assistance of the NJ ANG representative because the USAF wanted to keep me at the tech school; that year was the first year that all the airborne command post (doomsday plane) in flight maintainers all passed their training and the tech school found that was because I was training anybody who wanted to learn at the base MARS station.

After returning to NJ and the air guard, I found work at Ft. Monmouth testing digital communications systems and software, followed by a 10 year term in Europe supporting the systems fielded from FT. Monmouth. I returned to NJ in 2008, was hired as a GS-13 to help design the lab space in Maryland for Ft. Monmouth to move to, make the move succeed and help manage the labs.
