I have served 4 honorable years in the United States Marine Corps. I served as a 0331, a machine gunner in the infantry. The job skills i've learned there do not directly translate to many civilian jobs but it still has taught me several skills that are hard to teach; including, discipline, leadership skills, public speaking, proffessionalism, bearing, being accustomed to working very long hours, doing very physically demanding work, working through very stressful situations and handling that stress very well, and a strong work ethic with a craving to learn and be the best at whatever task I am given. In the field of trades I am currently not qualified but I am seeking a apprentecship or any opprotunity to learn, if given I will work long hours and do whatever possible to learn and perfect my craft.

Duties Description:The machine gunner is responsible for the tactical employment of the 7.62mm medium machine-gun, the 50 cal. and 40mm heavy machine-gun, and their support vehicle. Machine gunners provide direct fire in support of the rifle and LAR squads/platoons/companies and the infantry and LAR battalions. They are located in the weapons platoons of the rifle and LAR companies and the weapons company of the infantry battalion. Noncommissioned officers are assigned as team leaders and squad leaders/section leaders.Training courses:
