I've got 10 years in the army a 15G doing airframe and special composite repairs. 1 deployment to Kuwait/Iraq. I briefly worked in automotive repair & then hopped over into manufacturing where I now do quality control work. Inspections, root cause analysis, 6S certified and much more. I've always enjoyed manual labor more than administrative work. Im not sold on what field I'd like to get in to yet but im leaning plumbing or electrician. Long term I'd like to combine my QC experience with the field I end up in to be an inspector.

    Duties Description:

    I perform sheet metal and advanced composite repairs on all helicopter frames used by the U.S. Army. My duties include skin repair, fabrication, riveting, advanced composite repairs on honeycomb cores, fiberglass and a variety of other structural related repairs. I am shop lead for sheet metal and keep up with the adhesive inventory, tool box inventory, and other shop procedures.
