Work Experience:
I am Nicholas Ayres, a recent veteran of the U.S. Army. After three and a half years of service, I decided to pursue a new career path. I was deployed to Eastern Europe ( Poland, Finland, Austria, Germany, and Romania) in response to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine in 2022. This experience significantly contributed to my personal and professional growth.
Upon returning home from Europe, I was promoted to a team leadership position within my platoon. I led a small group of four soldiers in offensive and defensive operations, both during day and night. I communicated with higher headquarters via radio, laser, or verbal communication. I discovered a passion for leadership and found that I excelled at motivating and guiding others.
My career objectives are open-ended. I am interested in pursuing career in sheet metal fabrication, particularly at Poynter SM, where I have observed a variety of interesting and challenging projects. I am eager to learn new skills and become a well-rounded foreman with a comprehensive understanding of sheet metal fabrication.
