  Duties Description:

  Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills: I perform a full range of police officer duties within the boundary of Buckley AFB, Colorado where I have the authority and use full powers of apprehension and detention with entails carrying a firearm, mirandizing suspects, preserving evidence and testifying in court as it pertains to enforcing regulations on Buckley AFB. I patrol Buckley AFB on foot or in vehicles asneeded. I respond to alarms generated by the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) that monitors PLresources on Buckley AFB. I perform traffic duty to include operating radar detection devices, directing traffic, escorting dignitaries, and conducting sobriety tests. I enforce weapons systems security standards, traffic rules and regulations, including those related to speed, reckless and drunken driving. I stop violators, notify them of the traffic offense committed, and issues armed forces traffic tickets andDepartment of Defense violation notices as appropriate
