Hello, my name is Gil Contreras. I'm a Reno, NV Journeyman Carpenter who went through a abbreviated carpenter Apprenticeship Program in 2011 and journeyed out in 2013. I've been swinging a hammer as a carpenter since I was honorably discharged from the USCG in 1997. I'm a well rounded carpenter who has spent most of my career on large civil, commercial and T/I projects. This includes H2O treatment plants, bridges and overpasses, a dam, a traffic tunnel under Seattle, apartment complexes, and work at local companies like Tesla, Google and Panasonic. Wood and steel stud framing, drywall hanging and texturing, concrete formwork using gang forms, Peri System forms and footing formwork. Finish work including window and door replacement, millwork, cabinets, painting, kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Fully tooled with hand, cordless electric and pneumatic tools and equipment. Valid license with truck.
