My name is Morris McFadden and I was born and raised in sunny South Florida. I was recently discharged from the Navy and seeking a new opportunity to further my career. Before enlisting, my professional experience has mostly been in sales starting at the ground floor as a Medicare sales agent and working my way up over two years to a director role at a budding firm. In full transparency I served for 4 months total but was disqualified for medical reasons. I was in on a Nuke contract with a 98 ASVAB and earned a sharpshooter ribbon so precision, attention to detail, and leadership are my strong suits. Although my time in the service was short, I will always carry the discipline, time management, grit, and determination that comes with serving and I am excited to see how I can apply those skills to a career in the trades.

Duties Description:If surface, operate, maintain, and repair (organizational and intermediate level) ship propulsion machinery, auxiliary equipment, and outside machinery, such as: steering engine, hoisting machinery, food preparation equipment, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, windlasses, elevators, and laundry equipment. Operate and maintain (organizational and Intermediate level) marine boilers, pumps, forced draft blowers, and heat exchangers; perform tests, transfers, and inventory of lubricating oils, fuels, and water. Maintain records and reports, and may perform duties in the generation and stowage of industrial gases.
