Alec Hastings

My name is Alec Hastings, I'm currently 23 years old and I've served 5 years honorably in the United States Army as an Infantryman. The last year of my service being a team leader of 4. I have been Happily married for 8 months now and have a 4 year old son.
The Army has taught me multiple skills over the last few years. I am beyond physical fit to start off to complete any task that requires strength and if I'm not strong enough to accomplish that, then I will problem solve and figure it out pretty quick. Problem solving, common sense, working as a team, and of course leading a team are all skills that I have Naturally acquired throughout my military service.
My main focus is my family and to take care of them And transitioning out of the military isn't the easiest task while doing that. I have high ambitions and goals and plan to accomplish them. As of right now becoming a lineman and putting all my time and effort towards that is my biggest goal. I Plan on going to NALTC lineman school using my GI Bill as a pre-apprenticeship, hoping to land a job not to long after.
