Work Experience:

I am an Operations Specialist Second Class in the U.S. Navy with nearly seven years of active-duty service, including two overseas deployments. During my time in the Navy, I’ve served aboard the USS Arlington and worked within the Maritime Operations Center, where I developed strong skills in communication, operational coordination, and performance under pressure.

As I prepare to transition out of the military— with my final enlistment ending on February 27, 2027—I'm actively planning the next phase of my career through the Helmets to Hardhats program. I’ve developed a strong interest in the skilled trades, particularly HVAC, and I’m also open to opportunities in the electrical field. I bring with me a disciplined work ethic, a commitment to continuous learning, and a strong sense of teamwork. I’m eager to begin hands-on training and contribute to a profession where I can build a long-term, meaningful career

    Duties Description:

    While aboard the USS Arlington for over five and a half years, I served as a Sea Combat Air Controller (SCAC), Tactical Data Coordinator (TDC), Global Command and Control System (GCCS) Operator, and Watch Supervisor. As a SCAC, I was responsible for controlling and deconflicting aircraft in the ship’s airspace. As a TDC, I managed the flow of tactical data between units via various communication links. My work as a GCCS operator was similar, but focused on managing and distributing near-real-time operational data over secure IP networks. I completed two deployments supporting operations in Iceland, Greece, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, Italy, Croatia, Sweden, Latvia, and Lithuania. In addition to my operational duties, I contributed to training junior watchstanders and promoting watch team cohesion to ensure mission success and operational effectiveness.

    Duties Description:

    At the Maritime Operations Center (MOC), I operate as a Tactical Data Coordinator (TDC) and Global Command and Control System (GCCS) Operator on a broader scale, supporting operations for a flag officer (Admiral). My responsibilities included managing and maintaining the tactical data picture for the entire East Coast fleet, as well as networking with other MOCs to coordinate information exchange when required. I also reviewed operational messages and provided guidance across fleet units to support situational awareness and mission planning at the strategic level.
