My name is John Shockey, often go by the nickname Jd, and I am a recently trasionted Scout Sniper/Recon from the California Army National Guard. In addition, I served approximately 7 years in the Marine Corps Infantry, eventually to lead and be responsible of a squad of 12 Marines during the conduct of special operations throughout 4 deployments. During this time, I have also obtained an associate's degree in computer science, and I am currently attending an online master's program in electrical engineering.
I am extremely motivated to find rewarding, challegning and hard work that makes me feel as if I earn every dollar. I am very eager and quick to learn, and I absoutely thrive working both with a team and individualy with or without supervision. Having a wife and 2 daughers, my only wish is to thrive in a challenging, but constantly learning field to provide stability.
